Jorge Azcón, President of Aragón, has firmly rejected threats from Vox regarding immigration policies.
Azcón stated that he won't accept 'ultimatums' or 'threats' in politics, emphasizing that Aragón will comply with legal obligations without hesitation.
Despite acknowledging ongoing discussions with Vox, Azcón insisted that their pressure won't affect regional management.
He criticized the upcoming sectoral conference as insufficient, calling for a broader conference of regional presidents to address immigration comprehensively.
Azcón highlighted three key objectives: a global approach, financial sufficiency, and equality among regions.
He also pushed back against potential privileges for Catalonia in managing immigration.
