A bus carrying about 60 Inditex employees crashed Tuesday morning at the entrance of a tunnel on the C-32 highway between Pineda de Mar and Santa Susanna, near Barcelona.

The vehicle overturned and became wedged vertically at the tunnel entrance, resulting in multiple injuries.

Emergency services, including firefighters and medical teams, rushed to the scene.

Initial reports indicate at least 16 people were injured, with three in serious condition, including the driver.

The Catalan Civil Protection agency activated its emergency protocol and evacuated all passengers.

The accident caused significant traffic disruptions, with authorities closing the northbound lanes of the C-32 highway.
