A tragic incident occurred in Barrios de la Vega, Palencia, where a 78-year-old man died after being attacked by a large dog.

The man was out for a walk when the dog bit him on the neck.

Despite receiving initial medical assistance at the Saldaña health center, he could not be stabilized and passed away before being airlifted to a hospital in Valladolid.

The emergency services, including a helicopter from Sacyl, were mobilized, but efforts to save him were unsuccessful.
