Former Spanish politician Íñigo Errejón and actress Elisa Mouliaá are set to testify today in a Madrid court over allegations of sexual assault.
Mouliaá accused Errejón of non-consensual advances during a private gathering, leading to his resignation from politics last October.
The case, initially dismissed, was reopened after legal disputes over representation.
Mouliaá, now with a new lawyer, will testify first, followed by Errejón, who denies the allegations and plans to present a different version of events.
The court will decide whether the case proceeds to trial after the investigation concludes.
Both parties have prepared contrasting strategies, with Mouliaá emphasizing psychological harm and Errejón questioning the credibility of her claims.
