Severe flooding has struck central Spain, with Ávila and Toledo among the hardest-hit areas.
In Ávila, the Adaja River overflowed for the second time in two weeks, forcing evacuations, including 41 children from a convent.
Emergency measures, including the declaration of a state of emergency, have helped stabilize the situation, but concerns remain over potential snowmelt increasing water levels.
Meanwhile, in Toledo, the Alberche River reached near-historic levels, prompting evacuations in Escalona and other towns.
Over 100 residents have been displaced, and dozens of homes are submerged.
Authorities warn that rising temperatures could worsen conditions in the coming days, urging vigilance and caution near rivers and embankments.
