A Madrid court has expanded its investigation into Alberto González Amador, the partner of Madrid's president Isabel Díaz Ayuso, over allegations of disloyal administration and business corruption.
The decision follows a partial acceptance of a legal challenge by PSOE and Más Madrid, who argue that Amador used a shell company to conceal payments from Quirón Group.
The court's move comes after a previous attempt to settle the case was blocked by the same political parties.
The investigation centers on Amador's alleged use of Masterman SL, a company with no real operational capacity, to artificially lower tax liabilities by shifting income from his main business, Maxwell Cremona.
This case highlights potential financial misconduct involving significant tax evasion and fraudulent business practices.
