Alejandro Martín Ares, a 35-year-old hairdresser and owner of Fabrik salon in Ponferrada, was tragically found dead near the Bárcena reservoir after being missing for nearly a week.

He disappeared on Saturday, July 27, while heading to a family gathering in Camponaraya.

Friends reported that he had spent the morning at the reservoir with them before dropping them off at home.

His last known location was in the Cuatrovientos neighborhood, where he left his final friend.

Despite extensive searches by the National Police, including drone surveillance, his body was discovered only after his car was located.

The community is mourning the loss of a well-known local figure, and his family is devastated by the news.
