The National Police have arrested the owner of a nightclub in Aduna, Gipuzkoa, accused of sexually exploiting 18 women.
The operation began in June as part of a broader initiative against human trafficking for sexual exploitation.
During a police inspection, officers found 11 women being prostituted, along with two staff members and two clients.
Victims reported being forced to pay for their place in the club and sharing a portion of their earnings with the owner.
Some women also alleged that they were coerced into sexual acts with the owner under threat of expulsion.
The investigation is ongoing, with the owner's partner also under scrutiny for her involvement in the exploitation.
