Cuca Gamarra, the Secretary General of the Popular Party (PP), has called on Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez to accept reality and resign, urging him to call for new elections.
Gamarra criticized Sánchez's recent political assessment, labeling it a "no balance" that began with the controversial amnesty law and now threatens the common financing system.
She accused Sánchez of attempting to buy political power with public funds, particularly in his dealings with ERC to secure the investiture of Salvador Illa in Catalonia.
Gamarra emphasized that the current government is marked by corruption and a lack of legislative progress, with more corruption cases than laws passed.
She urged socialist representatives to reject any agreements that undermine the common financing model, asserting that such actions are neither socialist nor progressive.
