Princess Leonor of Spain visited the Naval School in Marín, Pontevedra, where she will begin her second year of military training in late August.
Accompanied by King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, the princess attended the swearing-in ceremony for first-year students and the presentation of official diplomas to graduating naval officers.
Dressed in her Army uniform, Leonor stood out among the white-clad naval officers.
The school's director, Commander Pedro Cardona Suanzes, welcomed the princess, saying, 'Welcome, Your Highness, to what will always be your home.
' Leonor is set to embark on the training ship Juan Sebastián Elcano in January, following in the footsteps of her father and grandfather.
This visit marks another step in the princess's military education, as she prepares to become the future Commander-in-Chief of the Spanish Armed Forces.
