The Spanish government has approved a new aid package worth €2.27 billion to support those affected by the recent DANA storm in Valencia, which resulted in over 220 fatalities.

Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez emphasized that the funds will focus on citizens, vehicles, and the productive sector.

The measures have been positively received by the National Association of Vehicle Sellers, highlighting the support for vehicle purchases.

Sánchez has committed to standing by the Valencian people, blaming the Generalitat for the disaster and calling for the dismissal of its president, Carlos Mazón.

Despite political tensions, the government aims to deliver aid swiftly, with further packages promised if necessary.
