Spain is set to experience a mix of high temperatures and potential storms as August comes to a close.
The country will see stable and sunny weather until Wednesday, with temperatures soaring above 35°C in many southern interior regions, potentially reaching 38°C in areas like the Guadalquivir Valley.
However, a new weather system, known as a DANA, is expected to bring instability starting Thursday, particularly affecting the central and western parts of the country, including cities from Cádiz to Bilbao.
This system could lead to intense storms and a significant drop in temperatures, with highs falling to between 25°C and 30°C in many areas.
The eastern regions and the Ebro Valley may still experience heat, with temperatures possibly reaching 35°C.
The weather is expected to remain unstable into early September, with continued chances of storms and showers across the peninsula.
