Spain is set to experience a significant rise in temperatures this week, with many areas expecting to surpass 30°C (86°F).
The Spanish Meteorological Agency (AEMET) predicts that some regions, particularly in the Guadalquivir and Ebro valleys, could see temperatures reaching 38-40°C (100-104°F) by Thursday.
While the northwest may experience some rainfall, most of the country will remain dry and sunny.
Coastal areas might see morning fog, and there's a possibility of occasional thunderstorms in mountainous regions.
Health authorities advise caution, especially for vulnerable groups, recommending staying hydrated and avoiding outdoor activities during peak heat hours.
