Spain is set to experience a welcome relief from the intense heat wave that has gripped much of the country, with temperatures soaring above 40 degrees Celsius in some areas.
Starting Friday, a fresh Atlantic air mass will bring cooler temperatures and potential rain, particularly in the northeastern regions like the Pyrenees and the Iberian System.
However, many areas will still face high temperatures, with warnings in place for regions such as Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, and Catalonia.
The weather will remain unstable, with thunderstorms expected in various parts of the country, especially in the north.
As the weekend approaches, citizens are advised to adjust their summer plans to ensure safety amid changing weather conditions.
