A 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck southern Spain early Thursday morning, with its epicenter in Cazalla de la Sierra, Sevilla.
The tremor, occurring at 3:29 AM at a depth of 10 kilometers, was felt across 200 municipalities in Sevilla, Huelva, Córdoba, and Badajoz.
Residents reported being awakened by shaking furniture and loud rumbling noises.
Despite the alarm, no injuries or significant damage have been reported.
Local authorities are inspecting buildings to ensure structural safety.
A smaller aftershock of 1.7 magnitude followed an hour later.
Emergency services received over 20 calls, reflecting the widespread concern among residents.
