This Sunday, Palma de Mallorca will witness a significant anti-tourism demonstration organized by the 'Less Tourism, More Life' platform.
The protest, set to begin at 7 PM from Estacions Park, has garnered support from 111 entities, including environmental, neighborhood, union, educational, and cultural groups.
Demonstrators aim to 'change course' and 'set limits on tourism,' advocating for a fair and equitable economic model.
The Mallorca Feminist Movement has joined the cause, highlighting concerns about the tourism industry's impact on women's rights and safety.
Local authorities have announced traffic closures and bus route changes to accommodate the march, which will conclude at Passeig del Born.
