The Spanish public broadcaster RTVE faced a major setback when a planned examination for the position of informant was abruptly canceled due to a leak of exam questions.
The incident, which affected nearly 5,000 candidates, occurred at the University of Complutense in Madrid.
The leak was reportedly discovered by a tribunal member linked to a union, leading to the resignation of nine out of ten tribunal members.
In response, RTVE has rescheduled the exam for November 2nd and launched an internal investigation.
The corporation has also filed a police report and is considering compensating affected candidates for their travel and accommodation expenses.
The incident has sparked protests from RTVE employees demanding accountability and transparency in the recruitment process.
