The Spanish political scene is currently embroiled in controversy as the opposition party, Partido Popular (PP), intensifies pressure on Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez over his alleged connections with businessman Víctor de Aldama.

Aldama, identified by the Judicial Police as a key figure in a corruption network, was photographed with Sánchez at a PSOE event in 2019. This revelation has led to accusations from PP leaders, including Alberto Núñez Feijóo, who claims Sánchez deliberately concealed this relationship in Congress.

The opposition demands clarity on the nature and frequency of their meetings, suggesting that Sánchez's silence implies guilt.
