Spain's King Felipe VI and Defense Minister Margarita Robles have emphasized unity and resilience in the wake of a devastating flood that struck Valencia in October.

During the traditional Pascua Militar ceremony, the King praised the military's extensive efforts in rescue operations, debris removal, and psychological support for victims.

Robles highlighted the dedication of 25,000 military personnel who worked tirelessly to aid the region, pledging continued support for reconstruction efforts through 2025. The tragedy, which claimed hundreds of lives and destroyed entire neighborhoods, has underscored the critical role of the armed forces in national emergencies.
