Spain's labor market showed remarkable growth in February, with 100,340 new jobs created and unemployment dropping by nearly 6,000 people.
This marks the lowest unemployment figure for February since 2007, with 2.59 million people currently jobless.
Key sectors driving this growth include education, hospitality, and construction, which collectively added tens of thousands of jobs.
Meanwhile, the number of workers with indefinite contracts has risen significantly, reflecting improved job stability.
Women have also made notable strides, now representing 47.3% of the workforce and achieving a historic high in self-employment.
Despite these gains, youth unemployment saw a slight increase, highlighting ongoing challenges for younger workers.
Overall, Spain's employment growth outpaces that of major European nations, signaling a robust recovery.
