Cities across Spain are rescheduling their traditional Three Kings parades due to severe weather forecasts.
Heavy rain, cold, and even snow expected on January 5 have prompted many municipalities to move the celebrations to January 4. In Andalusia, cities like Córdoba, Jaén, and Sevilla have adjusted their plans, with Sevilla making history by changing the date for the first time in over a century.
Similar changes are seen in Extremadura, Galicia, and other regions, as towns aim to preserve the festive spirit while ensuring safety.
However, some cities, like Cáceres and Pontevedra, are holding firm to the original date, despite the risks.
The adjustments highlight the challenges of balancing tradition with unpredictable weather.
