Tragic Bus Accident in French Pyrenees

A tragic bus accident occurred on a mountainous road in the French Pyrenees, near Porté-Puymorens, resulting in the deaths of at least four people and injuring over 30 others.

The bus, carrying 47 passengers from L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, was returning from a shopping trip to Andorra when it struck a roadside cornice and overturned.

Emergency services from France, Spain, and Andorra, including helicopters, were deployed to the scene to assist the victims and transport the injured to nearby hospitals.

The accident led to the closure of the RN 320 road, and a crisis team was established to support the families of the victims.

An investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
