Barcelona is gearing up for a spectacular New Year's Eve celebration at Avenida Maria Cristina, featuring a breathtaking show of 500 drones, synchronized pyrotechnics, and tributes to iconic artist Joan Miró.

The event, designed by Groupe F, will include a pulsating heart symbolizing friendship and solidarity, projected over Montjuïc.

To ensure safety, the city has implemented strict security measures, including access controls, metal detectors, and patrols to prevent violence and illegal activities.

Public transport will run uninterrupted for 43 hours, and additional cleaning crews will be deployed.

The celebration aims to create a joyful and safe experience for all, blending art, technology, and community spirit.
