Out of 134 initial groups, 52 have advanced, including 20 chirigotas, 20 comparsas, 10 coros, and 2 cuartetos.

Highlights include the return of Jesús Bienvenido with his comparsa Las Ratas after an eight-year hiatus and José Guerrero Yuyu’s comeback with Los James Bond que da gloria verlos after 15 years.
