Koldo García, former advisor to ex-Minister José Luis Ábalos, denied all allegations of corruption during a two-and-a-half-hour Supreme Court interrogation.
García refuted claims of receiving commissions or facilitating contracts, asserting he lacked the authority to do so.
He also denied knowledge of any illicit activities by Ábalos or the PSOE.
The investigation centers on García's alleged role in a corruption network involving public contracts and mask sales during the pandemic.
Despite evidence from the Guardia Civil, including cash and handwritten records, García attributed his financial dealings to family habits.
He admitted to some connections with key figures but maintained his innocence, calling himself a mere advisor without influence.
