Former Spanish Transport Minister José Luis Ábalos testified before the Supreme Court on December 12 regarding the "Koldo case," a corruption investigation involving public contracts.

Ábalos denied any involvement in awarding contracts to Soluciones de Gestión, a company accused of paying illegal commissions.

He claimed he only signed a ministerial order and delegated the process to his deputy, Jesús Gómez.

Ábalos also addressed allegations of personal benefits, including a luxury rental linked to the case, stating he had no knowledge of its ownership.

The former minister distanced himself from accusations, suggesting he was being falsely implicated by others involved in the scandal.
