Emergency services have completed a thorough inspection of the flooded underground parking at Bonaire shopping center in Aldaia, Valencia, and have found no bodies, despite widespread rumors of a mass casualty event.

The parking area, submerged since last Tuesday, was the subject of numerous false reports claiming hundreds of deaths.

However, after a detailed search involving firefighters and military personnel, only about 50 vehicles were found, none containing bodies.

The misinformation spread rapidly on social media, causing panic and complicating rescue efforts.

Authorities continue to manage the site to prevent looting, while the focus shifts to other affected areas in Valencia.
