The Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) has reached a consensus on a new model for regional financing, aiming to ensure a fair and sustainable distribution of resources across Spain's autonomous communities.
This agreement, achieved during the 41st Federal Congress, seeks to enhance public services and recognize the unique needs of each region, while maintaining equality in access to these services.
The model will be approved multilaterally within the Fiscal and Financial Policy Council, balancing both multilateral and bilateral relations with the state.
The PSOE also plans to enshrine the revaluation of pensions in the Constitution, reinforcing their commitment to social welfare.
This move comes as part of a broader strategy to transition towards a federal state model, emphasizing unity and diversity within Spain.
