Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has reaffirmed Spain's support for Ukraine amidst escalating global tensions.
Following a controversial meeting between Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski, Sánchez criticized neo-imperialist threats and emphasized the importance of international alliances based on equality and sovereignty.
Speaking at a party congress in Cartagena, Sánchez condemned any peace plans that compromise Ukraine's territorial integrity, calling for a just and lasting peace.
He also announced a €1 billion military aid package for Ukraine and highlighted the need to uphold international law.
Sánchez's stance aligns with European leaders, as they gather in London to discuss strategies to support Ukraine and counter Russian aggression.
