Vox is intensifying pressure on the Popular Party (PP) across six Spanish autonomous regions, threatening to disrupt budget negotiations due to the PP's engagement with the Socialist Party (PSOE) on migration policies.
The tension arises as the PP plans to meet with the government to discuss reforms to the immigration law, particularly concerning the distribution of unaccompanied migrant minors.
Vox, opposing any agreement that involves accepting these minors, has suspended budget talks in regions like Baleares and Castilla y León, where the PP lacks a majority.
This move echoes Vox's previous actions in July, where they withdrew from coalition governments over similar issues.
The PP, however, maintains its stance on seeking a migration agreement, emphasizing solidarity with regions like the Canary Islands, despite Vox's opposition.
