Spain's Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz, has raised concerns over a data breach involving personal information shared in a Supreme Court investigation.

The leaked documents, which included sensitive details like home addresses and ID numbers, were part of a probe into alleged data leaks.

García Ortiz has filed a complaint with the General Council of the Judiciary, calling the inclusion of such data unnecessary and a severe privacy violation.

The Interior Ministry is now reviewing his security measures.

Meanwhile, the government has expressed full confidence in García Ortiz, despite revelations of intentional message deletions coinciding with the investigation's launch.

Critics argue this raises questions about transparency and data protection.
