Jerez de la Frontera recently hosted the grand Magna Mariana procession, attracting thousands of visitors.

Originally postponed due to rain, the event finally took place, showcasing 36 Marian images in a spectacular display.

This procession, marking the centenary of the Virgin of Carmen's coronation, served as a prelude to the 2025 Holy Year.

The event drew an estimated 100,000 attendees, with over 12,000 seats sold for spectators.

A special security and mobility plan was implemented, including increased train services and shuttle buses to manage the influx of visitors.

The procession, lasting over 12 hours, featured images from various brotherhoods, highlighting Jerez's rich religious and artistic heritage.

This event not only celebrated the city's devotion but also set the stage for the upcoming Jubilee Year.
