Junts per Catalunya is considering withdrawing its proposal urging Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez to face a vote of confidence.
This comes after international mediator Francisco Galindo Vélez recommended giving Sánchez more time to fulfill pending agreements, including the transfer of immigration powers to Catalonia.
The decision will be finalized in a party executive meeting on Monday.
Recent talks in Switzerland between Junts and the PSOE have shown progress, but unresolved issues remain.
Former Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero has expressed optimism, emphasizing the importance of dialogue to avoid ruptures.
The outcome of Junts' decision could significantly impact the political landscape and Sánchez's ability to maintain his coalition government.
