Authorities in Ceuta have uncovered a secret tunnel used for drug trafficking between Morocco and Spain.
The tunnel, hidden beneath an abandoned warehouse in the Tarajal industrial area, was part of a sophisticated operation to smuggle large quantities of hashish.
Investigations revealed that the tunnel connected directly to Morocco, allowing traffickers to bypass border controls.
The operation, involving multiple law enforcement units, has already led to several arrests, including a local politician and law enforcement officers.
This discovery is part of a broader crackdown on organized crime, with authorities suspecting a larger network facilitating drug distribution across Europe.
The investigation continues, with more arrests expected.
