The Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Ángeles Sánchez Conde, has recommended that the court dismiss the case against the State Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz, regarding alleged secret revelations.
The case stems from a complaint by Alberto González Amador, partner of Madrid's regional president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.
Sánchez Conde argues that the information disclosed was already public and does not constitute a crime.
The controversy began when the Madrid Prosecutor's Office issued a press release to counter false claims about a fiscal fraud case involving González Amador.
The release, which detailed communications between the defense and the prosecution, is considered by Ayuso's partner as a breach of confidentiality.
However, Sánchez Conde maintains that the release was necessary to correct misinformation and did not reveal any new private data.
