Two migrant boats arrived on the shores of Gran Canaria on Friday, carrying a total of 211 people.
The first boat, with 66 migrants, landed on Las Burras beach in San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
Five people were in critical condition, with one suffering cardiac arrest.
A second boat, carrying 145 sub-Saharan African migrants, was escorted to Arguineguín port by the coast guard.
Among the arrivals were women and children, including a three-month-old baby.
The incidents highlight the ongoing challenges of irregular migration to the Canary Islands, with arrivals increasing by 160% compared to the same period last year.
