Meteorologists predict a significant drop in temperatures by the weekend, as a cold air mass from the continent approaches.

This change follows a period of mild weather, with temperatures reaching over 20°C in some southern and eastern regions.

However, the arrival of the cold front is expected to bring snow to mountainous areas in the north and the Balearic Islands.

While the start of the week will see some rain in the northern regions, the rest of the country will remain mostly dry.
