The Spanish government has extended its public transport discounts until June 30, 2025. Commuters can enjoy free travel on Cercanías, Rodalíes, and medium-distance trains, as well as state-run buses.

Discounts of up to 50% are also available for Avant services and urban transport.

Special rates include free travel for children under 15 and reduced fares for young people.

The initiative aims to promote sustainable mobility and ease financial burdens.

Over 1.36 million free passes have already been issued by Renfe.

The government plans to invest €1.6 billion to support these measures.
