This Sunday, July 21, temperatures across Spain are expected to drop significantly, providing relief from the recent heatwave.
The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts a general decrease in temperatures, particularly in the northeastern regions of the Peninsula, with some areas like Albacete and Málaga experiencing milder drops.
In the Balearic Islands, temperatures will range from 23°C to 31°C, while the Canary Islands will see a range of 21°C to 24°C, though some calima may persist.
Despite this temporary respite, AEMET warns that another heatwave is on the horizon, with temperatures expected to rise again mid-week, potentially exceeding 40°C.
The agency advises caution, especially for vulnerable populations, as the summer heat continues to pose health risks.
