The Spanish Supreme Court has dismissed allegations against Finance Minister María Jesús Montero, accused of revealing confidential information about Alberto González Amador, the partner of Madrid's regional president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.

Two associations had claimed Montero disclosed private data during a public statement on March 12, but the court found no evidence of such revelations.

The court noted that the information was already public knowledge, having been reported by media outlets earlier that day.

The decision, made by a panel of five judges, underscores that Montero's comments did not breach any legal confidentiality.

This ruling comes amid ongoing legal challenges involving González Amador, who is pursuing separate claims for defamation.
